We are the creators of Advocacy Ally, an AI-powered tool designed to support neurodivergent individuals in expressing their accessibility needs.

What Personal Data We Collect and Why

When you use Advocacy Ally, we may temporarily collect the following types of information:

User input data (e.g. your written descriptions of accessibility needs) is used only to generate personalised letters; it is not stored or reused by Luminosity Labs.
Contact information (if you choose to submit a form) is used solely to respond to your enquiry or interest.

We do not store the content you enter into Advocacy Ally, and we do not use any user data to train AI models.

Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on your consent to process any personal data you provide while using our site or tools. You can withdraw this consent at any time by discontinuing use and contacting us directly to request deletion of any retained data.

How Long We Retain Data

We do not retain personal data submitted via Advocacy Ally.

If you leave a comment on our blog or register on our site (if enabled), that data may be stored as outlined below.

Comments and associated metadata may be retained indefinitely for spam prevention and moderation.
Registered users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except usernames). Administrators can also edit that information.

Data Sharing and AI Tools

We do not sell, share, or disclose your personal data to third parties.

We use trusted third-party providers such as OpenAI to power Advocacy Ally. These providers are selected with GDPR compliance in mind.

We configure the service to minimise data retention.
OpenAI does not use data submitted through our API to train its models, unless you have explicitly opted in (which we do not).

Media

If you upload images to the site, avoid including location data (EXIF GPS), as this may be accessible to others.
